BRAND STRATEGY & DESIGN

A new identity for Kororoit Creek Neighbourhood House

Kororoit Creek Neighbourhood House (KCNH) is a community hub in based in Albion in Melbourne’s west, offering eco-friendly, inclusive programs that boost wellbeing and promote sustainable living.

At its core, the brand identity features a distinctive “K-leaf” symbol that embodies sustainability. The logo’s stencil font works well across various applications, whether it’s hand stencilled onto veggie boxes, printed on flyers, or featured on social media.

The identity uses a natural colour palette, airy photos of nature and people, and complemented by quirky black-and-white illustrations. Hand-drawn sketches were chosen as a sustainable alternative to standard stock images.

Together, these elements create a brand that effectively communicates KCNH's key values of sustainability, community, and wellbeing.
